Meeting 1: Exploration (60-90 mins)
We start with a no-pressure, introductory meeting to get to know each other. We'll discuss what you would like to get our of our work together and whether NewLeaf is the right fit for your needs. After this conversation, if we agree to move forward, we’ll schedule the next steps - including some inspirational work (not homework...).
Meeting 2: Vision (60-90 mins)
We’ll explore the essential elements of a great life and begin to paint a picture of what it looks like for you. I hope you’ll leave this meeting feeling confident and energized to start living into your ideal life!
Meeting 3: Obstacles 60-90 mins)
We'll deepen our vision of a great life and discuss what could possibly get in the way. I hope you'll leave this meeting confident and energized to attack all obstacles in your way!
Meeting 4: Get Organized (homework & online communication)
Together, we’ll organize your personal financial data through our secure online portal, ensuring a clear understanding of your current financial situation.
Meeting 5+: Collaboration (60-min, as many as we need!)
Armed with a clear vision of what a great life looks like and your finances organized (or getting there), we'll begin to align the two. In our collaborative recommendations meeting, we’ll discuss the best steps to improve your financial picture, identifying the most meaningful and achievable next steps. We won’t create a 100 page financial plan, but we create a list of 3-5 actions we can put into place now to be more efficient.
Implementation & Execution (homework, possible meeting)
Now that we’ve outlined the next steps, it’s time for action! We’ll help implement the agreed-upon strategies to move you toward your financial goals.

Tony Madsen, CFP® started NewLeaf with a simple goal: to make a real difference. Beyond financial planning, NewLeaf is about giving back, with 10%+ of revenue going to causes that matter to clients and their communities.
- For all New Clients I will: Donate 10% of year one revenue to a cause that is important to them.
- For all Referrals I will: Not only donate 10% of year one revenue to a cause important to the new client, I'll donate 10% of year one revenue to a cause which is important to the referer.
- On an ongoing basis, I will: Donate 10% of net revenue to causes important to Michelle, Simon, Carsten, and myself.
